It serves two purposes: 1) it allows individuals to build credibility, and 2) it serves as a signal to others what can be expected from this person. Reviews are unlocked through a double blind confirmation that you actually went on a date. A 5-star rating system is also implemented and available for all matches. Chat going poorly? Give them a 1-star review.
Multiple Profiles
dvotn dating app allows users to have multiple profiles. This allows, as an example, a non-binary person to target multiple groups of people with a different set of pictures and criteria. Each profile could have different locations if you are frequently in more than one place.
In-app Voice and Video Calling
As far as we know, a unique to dvotn feature. It allows a dating user to verify that the person they are chatting with and have the pictures of, matches their actual face. Video confirmation is highly recommended before going on a date. Having voice and video calling built-in allows one to do the verification without handing out personal data, such as a phone number or some other app.
Planned feature: Noonlight
A planned feature for all dating app user tiers is Noonlight. Noonlight is a built-in emergency service that gives you a safety button if you feel you are in danger. Release the button, and it connects you with emergency help, including 911.
